Diesel is the thickest member of the team. He is a gentle giant and his calm; relaxed nature is very comforting. His ground manners are impeccable and although his size might be intimidating, he makes people feel safe within a short period of time. In his younger years, Diesel was a top competitor in the rodeo circuit.

Hercules is a very intelligent, handsome old fella. He loves attention and taking care of little people. Within the EAL program, Herc is vey kind and patient. He is sensitive and he reacts to people immediately. When riding, he still has “get up and go” when he knows the rider is ready for it. He will safely take his riders through creeks, herds of cattle and wherever the path leads. He is a bit of an escape artist….. He will not only untie himself but also the horses that are tied up around him. Herc is also very patient with clients that have physical limitations and he loves hugs!

Boone is our tallest horse. He is a kind and gentle soul. Boone has a mischievous side to him. For example, he will take obstacles and carry them around the arena and he will try to take another horse’s halter in his mouth and lead them.  Boone seems to know when he needs to “babysit” and he takes care of the smallest riders. His calm demeanour makes him very enjoyable to be around. Boone has some of the softest eyes that we have ever seen.

Llyod is one of a kind! What he lacks in size he makes up in personality. He loves life and he is always ready for an adventure. Lloyd is an extremely confident miniature horse and he is a lot of fun. Personal space needs to be established with Lloyd or he will want to be in your bubble all the time. It looks like we put highlights in Lloyd’s hair, but we don’t.

Elmo is the boss of the herd and he carries himself with confidence. He has a difficult time standing still when he knows that he is getting ready to go places. Elmo is extremely intelligent and when working in the EAL program he is a total gentleman and a great confidence booster. Elmo loves working cattle and he is very well suited for both trail riding and arena work. He is getting up in age but he is young at heart.

Jinx is our princess. She carries herself with an heir of distinction. In order for people to connect with Jinx, a certain level of understanding and trust must be achieved. She has a big bubble and she doesn’t let just anyone in. Jinx is a very responsive horse and she appreciates riders with extremely soft and undemanding hands. 

Twitch is Laney's horse and she came to us as a yearling. She excels at barrel racing and working cattle. She is fearless and will go wherever you ask. 

Flint is the newest member of our team. He is integrating well. Flint loves trail riding and he is always up for an adventure.  He is a big boy with a big heart. We have great expectations for Flint and we look forward to his positive interactions with people. 

Cash is Emily's all around horse. She has been used in 4-H shows which included english and western disciplines, barrel racing and working cattle.

Pip is our little big man! He carries himself with confidence and eagerness. Pip will take his time to approach people. He often stands back and assesses the situation before he comes forward. When Pip “chooses” someone, he trusts them completely. He might be smaller in stature but he has a big heart and he loves to be groomed!

Peaches is our smallest member of the team and when you see him, you’ll want to hug him! He is a great confidence booster when needed and he is always ready to take part in an EAL session. Peaches had the opportunity to be part of a wedding this last summer!
